Owning Pink

“Promoting health without encouraging others to seek wholeness is an exercise in futility. Not until we realize that our bodies are mirrors of our interpersonal, spiritual, professional, sexual, creative, financial, environmental, mental, and emotional health will we truly heal.” Lissa Rankin, MD

Most bloggers spend time (possibly too much time) on Twitter and Facebook, they are members of the virtual family that we are part of. And sometimes the connections and opportunities that come through this ‘family’ remind you of what a magical place cyberspace can be.

A few weeks ago Lissa Rankin – who runs one of my favourite health websites, Owning Pink – tweeted that she was interested in hearing about people’s healing stories as part of research for her next book. A tweet, tweet and an email later and Lissa (who lives in California and has 130,000 Twitter followers) asked if she could feature my recovery story on her website. See. Magical. (I love you Twitter…)

You can read it here.

If you are not familiar with Lissa and are interested in health and holistic healing, her website is well worth a look – make yourself a green tea, grab some carrot sticks, put your feet up and hang out with the Pink Medicine Woman.

Hope you have a lovely week, whatever you are up to my blogging friends…xx
